A refugee mother narrates Daniels’ story to her frustrated son in an effort to grant him hope. Daniel, a captive in Babylon, is very much respected and loved by the area’s ruler, King Darius. As such, he is appointed governor, but his unwavering faith lands him in trouble with the court advisors. In spite of the trials he faces, he emerges victorious against his enemies.
