This song is my favorite from the movie Muqaddar Ka Sikandar (1978). I don’t like the movie that much because of the typically Indian over-sentimental and self-pity aspects in it. However I love the music and songs in the movie composed by Kalyanji & Anandji en the lyrics written by Anjaan. I wish there were more artists like them these days. my favorite lines in this song are: Tu maseeha mohabbat ke maaron ka hai… Hum tera naam sun ke chale aaye hain…Ab dawa de hamein yah tu de de zehar…Teri mehfil mein yeh diljale aaye hain…Ek ehsaan kar, Ek ehsaan kar apne mehmaan par… De duayein, de duayein tujhe umre bhar ke liye… .
