This song was originally sung by Kishore Kumar for the film Black Mail (1973) starring Dharmendra and Rakhi Gulzar. I believe this song is one of the most heart touching hindi songs ever written. You just have to listen and you’ll know what I mean. I find it a bit disappointing they cut off the last couplet from the original song but this will do also.
